Shift 2 Unleased: Legend and Speedhunters DLC now available for PC

    Electronic Arts has just released two free DLC packs for PC users.  First, the Legends Packs which includes thirteen classic cars, and five classic race tracks.  Secondly, the Speedhunters Pack which includes fourteen new cars and two new game modes, Drag and Standing Mile.

Free Forza DLC

    XBOX 360 owners who purchase Forza Motorsport 4 will be able to access a very special BMW M5 Fan Pack.  This free DLC, courtesy of Turn 10 will include an exclusive BMW theme for the Xbox LIVE Dashboard, and the brand new 2012 BMW M5 will be available for players to drive within Forza 4.

DLC for Dirt 3

    Codemasters has announced that the Monte Carlo Track Pack, and Mini Gymkhana Special Pack are available for download.  The Monte Carlo pack has 8 rally stages, while the Mini Gymkhana includes a customized and tuned mid engined Mini Cooper S.

Officially licensed Wireless Force Feedback Wheel for Xbox 360

    Mad Catz is bringing it's latest driving accessories to Microsoft's console.  Supporting the upcoming Forza 4 Motorsport, and compatible with all XBOX 360 racing games.  The Mad Catz wheel features force feedback, and dual vibration motors, interchangeable gear shift for left or right handed drivers, a metal chassis, pedal set, lap mount, and desk clamp.

XBOX 360 Wireless Speed Wheel

    Microsoft is targeting the masses with it's new steering peripheral.  Scheduled to appear around the release of Forza Motorsport 4.  Microsoft Wireless Speed Wheel features trigger buttons for gas and brake, motion sensors for Intuitive steering, and incorporates rumble feedback so you can experience every nuance on the road.

SimGear: Manual Gearbox for Thrustmaster T500 RS

 

    Thrustmaster's T500 RS is truly a phenomenal wheel and pedal package, but some sim racers scoffed at the lack of a dedicated manual gearbox.  It looks like that's about to change, as the above image was released on Thrustmasters's Facebook page.  We'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available. 

Review: Sega Rally Online Arcade

     Sega Rally Online Arcade brings intense adrenaline pumping arcade racing to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 owners.  The original Sega Rally was developed in 1994 and is considered by many to be the best arcade racing game of all time.  Sega followed that up with Rally 2, 3, and Revo sequels. Now here comes Rally Online, does this sequel live up to the tradition of past Sega racers or does it need to spend more time in the garage?
